In this tutorial we will show how to use the mobile app to collect data and send it to the server. For this tutorial we set up a field crop inspections survey, shown in Figure 1 below. We start by registering a new field registration; for this we clicked on Register to access the registration page shown in Figure 2.

On the registration page you can add, view and update a registration. For this example we clicked the + button to register a new field; this will open the registration page shown in Figure 3.

The registration form has opened. Fill in the registration form and use the complete button on the last page to submit it. The app will show a thank you message. Click the survey button to go back to the registration list as shown in Figure 4.
NOTE: Questions with a red star are compulsory and must be filled in.

The registration of the new field is done and has a red bar indicating that the data has not yet been sent to the server. As soon as there is an internet connection, the data will be sent to the server and the color will change to green.

When you go one level up listing all registrations, you see that there are now 11 fields registered, of which one still has to be sent to the server.
We are now done with the registration. We can now do a field inspection survey for the registered field by clicking on INSPECTIONS. See Figure 6.

When clicking on INSPECTIONS, you will see all registered fields that are already inspected (see Figure 6). However, we want to do a field inspection for the newly registered field that is not yet inspected. To see the fields that are not yet inspected, click on the tab: "NOT SU..." |

As you can see in Figure 7, in the NOT SURVEYED tab we can see the newly registered field. To start the field survey for the new field, click on the plus button in the row of the field you want to inspect. This will open the field inspection form as shown in Figure 8.

In Figure 8 the field inspection form is shown. Fill in all the questions and submit the form by clicking on the complete button on the last page. The field inspection survey will be sent to the server as soon as there is an internet connection. |

The field inspection for STEVE H FARM is done and has not been sent to the server; this is indicated by the red bar next to it. When the field inspection survey is sent to the server, the color will change to green.

In Figure 10 we can see that the number of field inspections is 11 for 4 different fields, and one field inspection still needs to be sent to the server.
